As of the 7th of November, Rinze Douma joins Casper as an Airport Solutions Specialist based in The Netherlands. Rinze has worked in aviation for over 15 years. After jobs in the terminal and on the ramp, Rinze started with easyJet in 2011 based in London Gatwick. After postings in Milan, Porto, Toulouse and Berlin he is currently an airline captain in Amsterdam. Looking for challenges and trying to contribute to society, he recently made a transition towards data technology. The last two years he worked as a data engineer for a small company in debt counseling.

Within Casper Rinze can bring together his extensive knowledge in aviation with the understanding and skills as a programmer.

"Making aviation sustainable is a difficult but essential task that we must face together as an industry. Providing insight is key to understand how and where we need to focus our attention. Working with Casper I can make a meaningful contribution in ways different than as a pilot."

Rinze lives with his wife and one-year-old daughter in the center region of The Netherlands. He enjoys practicing different sports like tourskiing, padel and mountain biking. Also he likes to automate his home with smart integrations.
