Casper installs NOMS system at Isavia

We are pleased to announce that the Casper Noise is now live at Keflavík Airport (KEF) in Iceland. The airport is making use of the full Casper suite with Noise Monitoring, Complaint Management, and Flight Tracker.

KEF Airport has the important role of handling the operation and development of infrastructure that lays the foundation for Iceland’s air transport, connections with the outside world and flights between continents. KEF Airport is one of the most important single infrastructures of the tourism industry in Iceland and plays an important role in creating a good quality of life and prosperity in Iceland.

Because the Casper system is flexible, we can reuse the hardware currently used for Noise Monitoring at KEF Airport, namely four B&K2250 Noise Monitor Terminals. This has allowed us to streamline the implementation to only four weeks from contract signing to go live. This system can now be implemented for other airports who use B&K2250 monitors; instead of replacing them we can update and reuse them to integrate seamlessly into the Casper NOMS.

“We at Keflavík Airport (KEF) are very excited to bring Casper NOMS to the local community,” says Hrönn Ingólfsdóttir, Director of Corporate Strategy & Sustainability at Isavia. “This state-of-the-art Noise Monitoring system will help us, along with our neighbours, to monitor and manage the noise levels at and around KEF for the benefit of all. Together we get results for the airport and the community at large.”

We are happy to assist KEF Airport in their ambition aimed at delivering a leading airport that will grow sustainably and support the nation’s prosperity.
