The City of Sunnyvale Selects Casper Airport Solutions Inc.

Casper Airport Solutions (CAS) has signed a 10-year agreement to provide the City of Sunnyvale (The City) with a state of the art NOMS system, which includes the installation of four new NMTs. The city, after a competitive bid awarded the contract to Casper based on our reputation in the industry, state of the art solutions and understanding of the local aviation noise concerns.

The City intends to utilize the Casper NOMS system to monitor existing flight activity over the city and track changes to the noise environment and flight paths over time. In addition to the internal tracking system, Sunnyvale has also chosen to deploy Casper’s Public Flight Tracker and Noise Lab, our best in class web based community engagement portal, which provides residents with a complete picture of the noise environment and the ability to run reports on noise and flight activity.

The Casper system is fueled by the FAA SWIM flight track data feed and provides users with near real-time data (within 5 minutes) to keep up with the dynamic and complex flight operations as they change in the skies around the Bay Area.

We are proud to partner with the City of Sunnyvale to provide a state-of-the-art NOMS system that will help the city more effectively analyze the impact of flight activity and give residents the ability to monitor conditions in their neighborhood.
