Casper won the project of Jeju International Airport, South Korea

Created on Tuesday, 5 December 2023, 09:48

Located on the beautiful volcanic island of Jeju, the International Airport was in need of replacing their aging system and Noise Monitoring Tools with a more advanced noise monitoring system.

The old system was at end of life, and so the airport went to a competitive tender for a new noise monitoring system.

Partnering with EmTech Korea, Casper's solution was selected as the preferred option.

With the noise monitoring system fully being deployed at Jeju Airport it was vital to build a strong team and there was great collaboration between the Casper and EMTech technical teams.

It turns out that "IT Speak" is a universal language.

The major technical challenge was the serial card to access to the radar data, which required some of that collaboration to solve.

The project is on track with all 6 of the NMT's successfully installed and collecting data.

We are now in the final phase of testing with training scheduled for the middle of December, and fully expect the system to be operational for the new year.

"Winning Jeju Airport is exciting as it is important for Casper Australia, as we grow the Asian market. Successfully implementing this project provides a great launch pad for 2024." thus Regional Manager Chris Middleton.
