Casper launched at PVD

Providence Launches Casper Flight Tracking And Complaint Management

On January 1st, Providence T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) commence.d operation of their new Casper NOMS system, becoming the company’s fourth U.S. Airport client. Casper was chosen in a competitive RFP to replace the airport’s existing system.  The state-of-the-art Casper solution has been customized to meet the unique needs of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation and provides PVD with a modern and robust platform built for real-time airport operational and environmental management.

As part of the agreement, Providence also purchased the company’s best in class public Flight Tracker.  Casper’s public Flight Tracker is a true mobile application that is compatible with all web-enabled smartphones, tablets, and computers and is fully integrated with Casper Noise.  The simple and intuitive interface allows residents to view flights and better understand flight patterns at PVD.  Noise concerns can also be entered using the customized built-in web form, that automatically populates the Complaint Management database.

PVD’s diverse traffic mix and challenging operating environment in the middle of the congested northeast corridor between Boston and New York allowed Casper to apply the many lessons learned from implementations at other noise sensitive airports like Amsterdam Schiphol and London Gatwick.  The new techniques and innovations developed for PVD will be applied in our applications to enhance and improve our solutions suite which will benefit both current and future customers.

We are excited to welcome Providence T.F. Green Airport to the Casper family and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership with the Rhode Island Airport Corporation.
