Casper visits FAC

Casper will visit the 48th Annual Florida Airports Council (FAC) Conference and Exposition in Miami. Hosted by the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, the Key West International Airport and the Florida Airports Council, the conference will be held from July 23 – 26, 2017 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel located in beautiful Miami Beach, Florida.

Noise Lab update

In 2016 Gatwick Airport initiated an Independent Review of Arrivals to consider whether everything that can reasonably be done to alleviate noise for local communities is being done.

Casper complaint management at DFW

This spring, Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) airport launched the use of the DFW Casper Noise Complaint Management system. DFW has already been a Casper Noise user for Noise Monitoring, to process and analyze input from all 26 noise monitors around the airport.

Air traffic movies made by Casper published by KDC

KDC (Knowledge & Development Centre), a cooperation between the Dutch government, KLM, ATC The Netherlands, and Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, did several trials for the project Night Optimal Way to Land (NightOWL) to reduce noise, fuel consumption, and workload for air traffic controllers. This was done by influencing the incoming aircrafts in an earlier stage using the Trajectory Manager.
